Description

This is an ebook test. Yes, not a book test done with actual paper copies, but rather a book test done with ebooks, PDF ebooks that is. The advantage here is that you can perform it wherever you have your smartphone, tablet or iPad with you.

Following on from it’s initial release; José has discovered more tips and subtleties on this simple concept, that takes the devilishly deceptive “impromptu” mind reading routine from a quick trick, to a baffling miracle.

In this new digital package, you’ll find a total of 10 ebooks, 7 of which were included in the original Liebrary release; 3 are brand new and have mentalism applicable themes, which make them ideal for use when you’re explaining what you do, be it mystical or psychological, both are covered.

Effect: A spectator selects any one of ten ebooks, turns to the page of his/her choice as you look away. The spectator concentrates on one word and you name it, even though you don't know the page and there is no fishing.

You will get the following ebooks:

"A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens
"Around the World in Eighty Days" by Jules Verne
"Gulliver's Travels" by Jonathan Swift
"Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka
"Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson
"The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
"The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum

Plus 3 brand new eBooks with mentalism applicable themes and 3 eBooks for spanish speaking mind readers!

The effect works for PC, Mac, smartphone, iPad or iPhone as long as the PDF reader has a 'go to page number' option.

"The first effect I've seen that looks legit and NOT like an app. I'll use it." - Dick Christian

"Like most great mentalism effects, J. Prager's Liebrary is elegant in its simplicity." - Tom Mohan

"Do you like book tests? J. Prager is the man. Liebrary is a strong tool that gives you the possibility to perform a classic book test anywhere, anytime, anyplace. It is something you must have." - Tommaso Guglielmi

"There is a new face emerging in mentalism and he is called J. Prager. His book test takes no prisoners and looks and feels like the real thing. Not a word is said and you nail it." - Ray Noble

"Just echoing what everyone else has said: this is a tremendous book test. Bravo. Jose, Bravo!" - gmeister (themagiccafe.com)

"Over the past few years, I've looked at a few dozen smartphone effects. None of them really work for me because they all just scream, "The app does the effect." With ebooks now being commonplace, an ebook test seems entirely appropriate. And this one is terrific. It looks suspicion-free. There is no special app involved. Have somebody pick one of seven PDF books (no shenanigans here, it's a free choice) and then punch in random page number (also a free choice). You immediately can predict the first word on any page in any of the seven books. (Well, almost every page...) The method is ancient, but the styling is new. For a modern close-up book test, with just a little bit of audience management, this is fantastic. Heck, you can even keep the ebooks in cloud storage and download the chosen ebook to the spectator's smartphone or tablet and use his PDF reader app. Did I mention that the entire method takes about three sentences to explain? At 10 clams, this is a bargain for the minds you can blow." - Christian Fisanick
