• About the Author

"Louis Lam clearly describes 13 card effects and their variations. The effects have been thoroughly tested upon audiences and are both novel and clever. No unusual sleights are required for the tricks, nor is it necessary to have extreme skill. The effects depend more upon novel ideas of presentation and the subtlety of ideas." - John Mulholland, Sphinx magazine

"Real smart card tricks!" - Joe Berg

"The 'El-El Telephone Test' is ... ingenious. Very good, this. There is a sensational four ace trick, and the effect 'Miraculous' does not belie its title." - Magic Wand magazine review

"I especially like 'Square Magic' that uses words, instead of numbers, in a magic square effect. The method shows great promise for use by mentalists, as well. The 'Coincidence' envelope effect is also excellent." - The Amazing Whitney
