For almost two decades, John Guastaferro has been improving his magic through "one degree" changes. These micro adjustments may seem small, but each one has a major impact on the method, magic, or the audience. Vanishing Inc. proudly presents the culmination of all that work: Final Degree.??Across twenty-eight masterfully crafted routines, John shares effects polished over years of real-world performance.

The material inside ranges from streamlined classics to brand-new miracles, and everything in between. Highlights include "Detour," a modern and efficient take on the Ambitious Card that ends with a Card-to-Wallet. "Lightning Strikes Twice" is an incredibly commercial and practical take on the Chicago Opener plot that is perfect for strolling or close-up. If you're looking for high-impact magic with minimal technical demand, you'll love "Handout Aces", an Ace Cutting routine where you do zero work, but get all the credit. And of course, there are plenty of fun and original moves, like John's new Double Down Control and the Relay Shuffle.

Moving past the routines, John draws on his unique background as a professional speaker, marketer, and philanthropist to offer the kind of advice that most magicians didn't even know they needed. These chapters provide a rare look at the "why" behind the magic, helping to elevate a performance from a series of tricks into a cohesive professional brand.

While it is not necessary to have read the previous books to jump into this one, Final Degree completes the trilogy started by One Degree and The Nth Degree. His earlier works changed how the community thought about incremental refinement, and with this final installment, John has saved the best for last. Whether the goal is to finish a collection or simply to master world-class card magic, Final Degree is an essential addition to any library.
